This week in London – 17/10/16

All week: Grab tickets to 1984, the West End production of George Orwell’s famous novel, at the Playhouse Theatre before it ends on 29th October.

Friday 21st: Party on the street as part of the Bloomsbury Festival – To bring in the weekend of activities and events, Bloomsbury Festival hosts a free night time street party. From 6pm on Friday night Store Street (just around the corner from the British Museum) will be transformed into a stage filled with dance and music from around the world, whilst shops and businesses lining the street will open up their doors to host local artists, poets and inspirational speakers to fit in with this years theme of language.

Thursday 20th – Saturday 22nd: Hoxtoberfest – If you missed the opportunity to travel out to Germany this month don’t worry, you still have the chance to enjoy East London’s take on the German beer festival! This weekend you can indulge in plenty of beer, sausage and music at Hoxton Docks Timber warehouse which has been converted into an alpine chalet.
